"Gentle Methods Produce Positive Results"
Also known as canine musical freestyle, DIXIE'S was a major player in the introduction of freestyle to Oklahoma!!! This is a fun way to train your dog and get some exercise in the process. It's a great way to teach your dog new things just for fun or with the goal of giving demonstrations to children, nursing homes, and local events. We also help with freestyle competitions to the area.
We are fortunate to have national freestyle competitor Kris Hurley from Oklahoma City giving us guidance.
DIXIE'S drop-in sessions focus on the 'moves'. Sessions are Wednesday evenings at 7 pm. E-mail us by Monday to confirm if you are coming that week. Cost is $5.00.
Jane's next freestyle class designed for clicker trainers to hone their clicker skills is pending. For more information, email@example.com
DIXIE'S Animal Training periodically hosts a workshop featuring Kris Hurley to help those who have started training for musical freestyle. This workshop focuses on putting the moves that your dog has learned (or has started to learn) to music (choreography). Kris is amazing to watch - she can 'see' the moves to the music and fits it to each team. You can learn more about Kris at her website - www.freestyledogs.com.
The next workshop is pending. Give us a call (371-6959) to get on the waiting list.
